Water
Drink only bottled water. Pasteurized milk is widely available. Avoid dairy products that are likely to have been made from unboiled milk. Only eat well-cooked meat and fish. Vegetables should be cooked and fruit peeled.

In brief, the Peruvian Coast, from sea level to 1500 ft (457 m), average daytime temperatures range from 57 to 81°F (14 to 27 °C). During the dry season from May to November, the days and nights are cold and wet; during the dry season from December through April, the days are hot and the nights are cool. In Andean Peru and Bolivia, average daytime temperatures range from 48 to 64 °F (9 to 18 °C). During its dry season, the days are warm and dry and the nights are very cold; during its rainy season, the days are rainy and the nights are rainy and cold.
