Fr. Stephen Lake is an associate priest at Church of the Resurrection (Wheaton, IL) and a member of the Anglican Church in North America’s Committee for Catechesis. Before entering full time ministry in 2014, he taught philosophy at the undergraduate level for nearly 15 years, primarily at Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL) and Trinity Christian College (Palos Heights, IL). His scholarly specializations are in moral and philosophical theology, theological anthropology and social and political philosophy (especially, Just War ethics). He is currently at work on a lay catechetical handbook in moral theology (Foundations of Christian Ministry series, Whitchurch Publishing, Trinity School for Ministry).

Fr. Steve’s wife Christina Bieber Lake is the Clyde S. Kilby Chair of English literature at Wheaton College. Their son Donovan is a nationally ranked bowler. They and their black lab Buddy are all passionate fans of the Chicago Bears and Cubs.
